Guidelines

Please send your work in a PDF document to ensure your poetry formatting is maintained.

Font, size, and spacing are at the poet's discretion.

​

By submitting your work, you are accepting our right to apply minor grammatical edits so long as they don't change the meaning or intention of the work.

​

Previously published submissions are accepted. Please let us know where your work has appeared before so that we can credit it accordingly. Simultaneous submissions/pitches are encouraged. Please let us know if a piece or manuscript is no longer available for consideration.

​

We reserve the right to remove, withdraw, or discontinue any work in the future in case a writer is found to be expressing or holding bigoted or discriminatory views or has acted in such a manner. We encourage free speech, but everyone has limits. Don't be a dick.

​

Please include an author bio alongside your submission. An author photo is optional.

​

Add your name to the file name.

​

In the subject line of your email, please include POETRY SUBMISSION.

​

You should receive confirmation of your submission within seven days.

​

A final response (yes; no; yes subject to editing) will be sent out by the 27th of August.

​

If you are accepted, we offer feedback and general notes. 

​

You may commission prose and poetry edits and feedback here.

​

Payment will be sent by PayPal to published poets within a week of publication.

IMPORTANT: ISSUE 3 Guidelines

​

For issue three, we are WAIVING ALL SUBMISSION FEES. Instead, we encourage poets to donate the equivalent (£3/$3) to a humanitarian aid charity helping civilians in Gaza and Sudan.

​

We will also be donating writer's fees unless otherwise requested.
